Day 1: Arrive Colombo - Transfer to Hotel (40 kms)
On arrival, our local representative will meet you outside the Customs area and transfer you to the hotel. Enjoy en-route your first glances of Colombo. It takes about 50 minutes to reach your hotel from the airport. Arrive & check in to the Hotel. The day is free for leisure. You may relax in your room or can stroll the local ways to get familiar with the city.

Day 2: Colombo - Half Day City Tour
Have a fill at morning breakfast. We go for a City Tour of Colombo today. You’ll see while on a tour that the city has still its charm of the old world intact. 100 yrs old clock tower and several British colonial buildings take you to a bygone era. Enjoy your time travel in past.
Rest of the day is at leisure. Go for a self exploration, enjoy local delicacies, go shopping and return to hotel when tired.

Day 3: Colombo - Pinnawala (85 km) - Kandy (45 km)
Enjoy morning breakfast and check out from hotel. Today we drive from Colombo to Pinnawala that takes about 2 hours to reach. We visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage here. This orphanage is home to elephants that are abandoned or orphaned in the wild. Here they are being cared, fed and trained and given happy environment to live. See them play in river or feed them with bananas. After spending good time with elephants, we proceed to Kandy. It will take around 1 hour to reach from here. Arrive & check in to the Hotel.

Day 4: Kandy - Full day City Tour
Enjoy morning breakfast at hotel. Today we drive to Peradeniya to visit the Royal Botanical Garden. It is known for its huge variety of orchids. This beautiful garden was built by a Sinhala king and was further expanded by the British. Covered in a span of about 147 acres, it has more than 4000 species of plants of spices, orchids, medicinal plants and palm trees.
After enlightening our souls in the beautiful garden, we return to Kandy. Here we drive around the beautiful lake built by the last Sinhala king. The day follows with a visit to local bazaar, a museum of gems and an arts-n-crafts centre. Last visit for the day would be to the Temple of the Tooth Relic, a sacred Buddhist Temple located in the royal complex. Enjoy a cultural show in the evening. Return to hotel after an event-some day.

Day 5: Kandy - Tea Garden - Nuwara Eliya (75 kms)
After your morning breakfast at hotel, pack your bags for the journey ahead. We make our way out of Kandy and drive to Nuwara Eliya. The 1.5 hrs drive is quite spectacular with waterfalls, rocky outcrops and paddy fields. En route we visit tea plantation & tea factory. World renowned Ceylon tea is produced here. See the process of tea manufacturing and the way it is graded. It would be good to buy some. Ceylon tea is the most expensive tea in the world! Refresh yourselves with a cup of Ceylon Tea in the factory. We proceed to reach Nuwara Eliya.
Nuwara Eliya is Sri Lanka’s most popular hill resort and hosts Sri Lanka’s highest mountain Pidurutalagala (8282 feet). This place produces a significant share of world’s best tea.

Day 6: Nuwara Eliya - Hakgala - Nuwara Eliya
Have your fill at morning breakfast. Today we go on a tour to Hakgala. This place has beautiful Botanical Gardens that lay just 10 kms from Nuwara Eliya town. It is believed that it was once the pleasure garden of Ravana of the Ramayana epic. This garden was expanded by the British period and today it hosts a wide variety of flowers. After the visit we return to Nuwara Eliya.

Day 7: Nuwara Eliya - Bentota (186 kms)
Enjoy a lazed off morning and a relaxed breakfast. Today we check out from the hotel and drive to Bentota. It takes about 4.5 hrs to reach. On arrival, check in and relax. Spend a leisurely evening in the locales.

Day 8: Bentota - Galle (60 kms) - Bentota
Enjoy your morning breakfast at hotel. Today we drive to Galle, the ancient city. Galle is a walled city that has stood since the early 16th century and saw Colonial periods of Portuguese, Dutch and British. It is today proclaimed as an Archaeological Reserve and has been declared as a living World Heritage Site. Visit the majestic Galle Fort, Dutch Museum and Dutch Church. Return to Bentota.

Day 9: Bentota - Colombo (115 kms) - Departure
After having a fill at morning breakfast, check out from the hotel. Today we transfer back to Colombo International Airport (it takes around 2 hours to reach) to board the flight for returning home.
