Day 01 – Air Port / Pinnawala/Kandy

Arrival to Colombo . Meet   at the airport .

Transfer to Kandy .On the way Visit to Elephant Orphanage in pinnawala.

Elephant Orphanage

Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is an orphanage ,nursery and captive breeding ground for wild Asian elephants located at pinnawala village .Pinnawala is notable for having the largest herd  of captive elephants in the world .They have 78 elephants and 3 generations living in pinnawala .The pinnawala elephant orphanage was first established by the Sri Lankan department of wild life conservation in 1975 for feeding and providing care and sanctuary to orphaned baby  elephants that were found in the wild .

In the Afternoon visit to Sri – DaladaMaligawa or Temple of the Tooth Relic.

Temple of the tooth relic is the holiest Buddhist temple in srilanka .It is located in the city of kandy .It is located in the royal palace complex of the former kingdom of kandy ,which houses the relic of the tooth of the buddha .Kandy was the last capital of the srilankan kings and is a world heritage site mainly due to the temple

Day 02  - Kandy /Peradeniya /Gem Museum /Tea Factory /Tea Land /Nuwaraeliya

Breakfast At the Hotel .Transfer to Nuwaraeliya .Visit to Peradeniya Botanical Garden .

As Sri Lanka’s largest garden an elegant and spacious 147 acres plenty of time is needed to stroll peradeniya’s imposing avenue of royal pams .There are some 4000 different species of plants at peradeniya garden .The 10 000 or so trees ,which are the stars ,are mature ,lofty giants ,many of them tropical timber trees

It is located at an altitude of 1868 m ( 6128ft ) and is considered to be the most important   location for Tea production in srilanka .The city is Overlooked by piduruthalagala ,the tallest mountain in srilanka .Nuwaraeliya is also known for the temperate ,cool climate ,the city is known for being the coolest area in srilanka.Nuwaraeliya’s Nickname is “ Little England “

Day 03 – Nuwaraeliya /Hortan Planes /Nuwaraeliya

Horton Plains in srilanka ,is the coldest and windiest location in the country .At an altitude of 2100 meters above sea level ,Horton plains spreads across over 3169 hectares of the highest tablelands of the island.In view of the large number of endemic flora and fauna species , Horton plains was declared a UNESCO world heritage site on 2010.

Independence memorial Hall is a national monument in Sri lanka built for commemoration of the independence of srilanka from the british rule with the establishment of Dominion of Ceylon on February 4 ,1948 .
