Day 01 - Hanoi arrival + Hanoi half day city tour
On arrival at Airport, you'll be transferred to your hotel. Upon arrival check in to the hotel and relax (std Check in Time 14:00)
Pick up at hotel and transfer to visit Tran Quoc pagoda, this is the oldest pagoda and be considered as a typical example of Vietnamese Buddhism with its history of more than 1500 years.
Passing outside Ho Chi Minh Mousoleum and transfer to visit Temple of Literature. Take a breather and explore the historical courtyards, gardens, and pavilions of the Temple of Literature. This was Vietnam's first One Pillar Pagoda university, and it still has many statues honoring the graduates.
15:00 The next stop is Hoa Lo Prison Museum, ironically nicknamed the ‘Hanoi Hilton’ by US prisoners of war (POWs) during the American War. Most exhibits relate to the prison’s use up to the mid-1950s, focusing on the Vietnamese struggle for independence from France.
16:00 Continue walking tour to visit the Hanoi Old Quarter. You will get the best picture of the French-colonial architecture of old buildings and family-run vendor shops there.
In the evening: enjoy the performace of water puppet show, a wonderful opportunity to learn about some of Vietnam’s mythology.
Day 2 : Ha Noi to Halong Cruise by Shuttle Transfers
08:30: Hotel or private address pick up with our shuttle bus. Short break half way.
12:00: Arriving Tuan Chau marina, transferred by tender of La Pandora cruises. Welcome aboard the cruise. Refresh with our welcome drink. Meet the captain, crew in the cruise briefing, safety instruction.
13:00: A special lunch in Vietnamese cuisine of fresh seafood and an assortment of appetizing favorites are served while sailing through Islets of Con Vit.
15:30: The Cruise sails through Lan Ha Bay. The area is surrounding of extraordinary limestone karsts landscapes. We progress to Ong Cam Area of Lan Ha Bay- a separate part of Ha Long bay. This is a quiet tourist paradise in Vietnam, enjoy kayaking and/or enjoy swimming in the crystal clear waters of the Bay.
17:30 Back to La Pandora Cruise, drop anchor for staying overnight. Enjoy the complimentary Sunset Party on the sundeck with local wine and fresh fruit.
19:00: Dinner is served in the restaurant. Enjoy delicious local food prepared and served for you by our wonderful onboard catering staff. After dinner, retiring to your cabin or join the fishing excursion, watch a movie, have a drink at the bar, wifi access or play exciting games. Overnight on board
Day 3 : Halong bay to Ha Noi Transfers. Flight to Da Nang. Reach and transfers to Hotel . (B/Brunch)
06:00: Enjoy sunrise and admire the never ending miraculous scenery of the Bay. Practice an invigorating Tai Chi session on the sundeck.
07:00: Light breakfast, coffee and tea served.
08:00: Visit Dark & Bright Cave and islets by local rowing boats which is a wild and mysterious beauty in the middle of the World Heritage.
09:15: Back to our La Pandora Cruise, relax before checking out.
10:15: Join cooking demonstration (teaching you how to make our speciality, Spring rolls) on the cruise.
10:45: Lunch is served on board.
12:00: Disembark at the Tuan Chau marina by tender. Take our shuttle bus to return to Hanoi
15:00 – 15:30: Arrival back to Hanoi and transfers to airport Then transfer to Noi Bai airport for take flight to Danang. Arrival Danang, check in hotel and O/N in Danang.
Day 04 Mekong Delta tour with local lunch
A new air-conditioned touring van will pick you up at 7:30 a.m. to begin your tour south of HCMC towards Tien Giang, which is approximately 1.5 hours away. The first stop will be at Vinh Trang Pagoda, the largest pagoda in Tien Giang and one of the most beautiful and revered Buddhist shrines in Vietnam. Covering an area of over 2,000 square meters, this nineteenth century pagoda is a must-see attraction.
Next, you'll arrive in My Tho and board a cruise to the Unicorn and Phoenix Islands, where you'll visit a coconut candy factory and witness the local honey making process. Mingle with the locals, sample fruits, honey tea, and honey wine, and learn about their lives and traditions while listening to traditional music. This will give you an opportunity to learn more about Vietnamese culture and way of life.
At the conclusion of the tour, you will be safely returned to your residence or hotel.
Day 05 Cu Chi tunnels + Saigon and Departure
Depart for Cu Chi tunnel, the trip will take approximately one and a half hours bus driving. Upon arrival, before exploring the tunnels, you will have some short introduction followed by introductory video about how the tunnels were constructed and how the people survived in the harsh conditions of the war time. Then, spend your time to explore the remaining area and tunnel systems which included the special constructed living areas with kitchens, bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities like storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs. Besides, there are also many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels for security purpose during the war. Afterward, special tea and cassava (guerilla’s food during the war) will be served.
Return to Saigon and transfer to the airport for flight to departure. End of services. Goodbye & See you again!
